Todd Pomeroy – Promoting Student Growth Through Fitness and Mentorship
Todd Pomeroy is a dedicated physical education advocate with a bachelor’s and master’s degree in physical education. As a teacher for grades K-8, Todd Pomeroy designed engaging lesson plans that improved students' coordination, endurance, and teamwork. His teaching methods combined fitness education with activities that promoted positive participation and social growth.
Committed to encouraging healthy habits, Mr. Pomeroy introduced creative fitness challenges and dynamic routines that motivated students to stay active outside the classroom. He organized activities that promoted teamwork, cooperation, and sportsmanship. To improve student fitness, Mr. Pomeroy incorporated exercises that built endurance and overall well-being. In addition to his teaching role, he coordinated league participation, scheduled school competitions, and established cross-country and volleyball programs.
Beyond his classroom efforts, Mr. Pomeroy played a key role as a mentor, guiding students to develop confidence, discipline, and social skills in gym class and group activities. When not teaching, Mr. Pomeroy restores old furniture and picture frames, blending creativity with hands-on craftsmanship.
